All of our pieces are handcrafted and made-to-order in New York City. Your items will usually ship within 14 business day from the date of order. Please allow an additional 7 days for custom orders. For expedited processing, please contact us via connect@bernardjames.com
For domestic orders, the standard shipping (2 – 3 business days) is complimentary. For international orders, standard shipping (5 – 7 business days) is $10. For expedited delivery, please contact us via connect@bernardjames.com
Duties and taxes for international orders are due upon delivery. Domestic orders will be charged sales tax at checkout.
Please refer to our sizing page to decide which sizes work for you. Please note that the measurements noted are based on actual wrist and finger measurements. If you need further sizing assistance, feel free to contact us with your measurements and have a bracelet or ring tailored to you.
At Bernard James, each piece is thoughtfully crafted, typically made-to-order, to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. We understand that selecting fine jewelry online can be a delicate process, and we're here to assist you in making the perfect choice.
If you find that your selection isn't quite what you expected, we offer an exchange or store credit within 14 days of receiving your purchase. Please note that due to the bespoke nature of custom and engraved items, these pieces are final sale; however, depending on the piece, adjustments to size can be made.
For in-store purchases, we are pleased to offer exchanges or store credit to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Warranty Offerings:
- Bernard James Fine Jewelry offers a two-year guarantee from the date of purchase. This warranty specifically covers any manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship.
Coverage:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship
- Clasp replacement
- Polishing and Rhodium plating
Additional Service:
- For diamond pieces with larger stones, we provide a GIA certificate to authenticate the quality and value of your purchase. This certificate is available upon request at the time of purchase or shortly after.
Exclusions:
- Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches or dents
- Damage due to accidents, misuse, or improper handling
- Exposure to harsh chemicals or environments
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications performed by third parties
Inspection and Denial of Claims:
- All warranty claims are subject to inspection by our expert team. If, upon inspection, it is determined that the damage falls outside the scope of this warranty, Bernard James Fine Jewelry reserves the right to deny the claim.
Negligence Clause:
- If the jewelry is repaired or modified by an unauthorized third party, the warranty will be voided. Bernard James Fine Jewelry cannot guarantee the quality of such repairs, and any subsequent issues will not be covered under the warranty.
