The 2025 Met Gala marked a major first for Bernard James. It was the most placements we’ve had at the event - and the first time we created fully custom jewelry looks for the red carpet.

We worked closely with stylists and creative teams to design two bespoke sets of jewelry: one for Anok Yai and one for Jordan Casteel. These projects pushed us beyond our core collections and allowed us to develop new forms and silhouettes specifically for each person’s look.

Other attendees wore pieces from our permanent collections, including Pavé Frame rings, Spectrum Hoops, Mirror Link Bracelets, and styles from the Flora collection. Some pieces were styled in unexpected ways - most notably, Lorde wore our Pavé Frame and Aura Infinity rings as hair accessories, alongside the black-to-white diamond Spectrum Hoops.

We’re proud to have collaborated with artists, stylists, and designers whose work we respect deeply. The opportunity to create new work at this scale - and to see it interpreted through so many creative lenses - was a meaningful step forward for the brand.
